A cast copper-alloy buckle frame of Medieval date. It is a double oval frame with a narrowed central bar for the pin which is missing. It is bent out of shape due to post-depositional damage. There is a slight groove in the outside edge which would have formed a rest for the pin. There is no decoration. It measures 21.21mm in length, 17.87mm in width, 2.16mm in thickness and weighs 2.44g.
It is similar to examples published from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, no 339).
