A fragment of a medieval cast copper alloy tumbrel or coin balance. The fragment comprises the platform on which the coin would have sat and part of the pivot hole. The platform is plain and rectangular and has a pair of transverse ridges below the attachment projection.
A similar example is illustrated in Egan (1998, 329; fig. 245).
