An incomplete cast lead mount of post-medieval date. The mount is comprised of an undecorated central circular element with a recessed border of incised radiating lines. Roughly one third of the rim remains, with the rest having been lost to old worn breaks, and is decorated with a series of five petalled flowers interspersed with lyre loops topped by four raised pellets. The reverse is undecorated and shows no surviving means of attachment.
The metal is a mid brownish-grey colour and is worn. The mount is 46.5mm long, 42.7mm wide, 4.3mm thick and weighs 36.8g.
