A fragment of a copper-alloy wire bracelet, formed by twisting a strand of copper-alloy around another. This fragment is curvilinear and measures 46mm in length and 3mm in width. At one end a hook, which is formed from the terminal of the inner piece of wire, survives. As this hook survives it is likely that this bracelet originally fastened via a hook and eye. The inner surface of this bracelet smooth and shiny due to wear. A very similar bracelet has been discovered at Colchester and is dated to the late 3rd to 4th centuries (Crummy 1983, 38-39, fig 41, no 1602).
