An incomplete cast copper alloy furniture mount of escutcheon of post-medieval date. The mount has an irregular foliate form and is etched with a central four petalled flower within a lozenge border of incised circles. Two foliate terminals survive with etched foliate decoration, within one terminal a circular rivet hole for attachment remains. The reverse is flat and undecorated.
The metal has a mid brownish-green colour and is slightly worn. The mount is 52.6mm long, 32.5mm wide, 1.5mm thick and weighs 8.1g.
