A complete blue glass annular bead of Late Iron Age to early Roman date. A deep cobolt blue colour with opaque white wavy lines around the body. The bead is 8mm thick and 18mm in diameter with a central hole 7mm in diameter.
Margaret Guido describes this type as Wave-decorated beads in her publication 'The Glass Beads of the Prehistoric and Roman Periods', classed as Group 5, type 10d style.
