BURNHAM HOARD 2010 T509: Item A.20 Socketed Axe; South Eastern - undiagnostic fragment
Incomplete cast copper alloy socketed axehead. Approximately half of the mouth survives and the upper part of the body. The axe is broken along the casting seams and face. There is a wide upper mouth moulding with a narrower moulding below. There is an internal rib in the socket.
