Incomplete cast copper alloy socketed axehead; only the lower body and blade end survive. The socket has been compressed. The sides are concave, flaring out sharply at the cutting edge. The body has a rectangular cross section. Casting seams smoothed. Cutting edge and blade tip damaged.
