A cast copper-alloy bow brooch of Roman date. It is a Colchester derivative Polden Hill brooch with folded wing ends. The wings, spring and most of the bow are present, the rest is missing due to old breaks. Each wing is decorated with a diagonal line running from the top to the bottom edge. The ends are folded over and the spring is fitted between them. The spring has seven coils and the pin has broken off. The bow is oval in section and tapers towards the foot. It is decorated with a central rib marked with diagonal lines. It measures 32.49mm in length, 31.22mm in width at the wings, 8.18mm in width at the top of the bow, 4.46mm in thickness and weighs 11.05g.

It is similar to examples published from Hacheston (Blagg et al., 2004), no 77.
