A fragment of an early Roman copper alloy bracelet dating from the 1st-2nd century AD. The fragment represents a short rectangular strip of thin copper alloy, bent, and cracked at its mid point. The upper surface is decorated with two parallel lines of pin-point indentations. The surface of the metal is in good condition with a green patina. The fragment is 31.0mm long, 13.0mm wide, 0.8mm thick and weighs 2.3g.
Examples of similar bracelet fragments are known from Colchester (Crummy 1983, 37, nos. 1586, 1587, fig. 40).
