A complete circular Medieval to Post Medieval unifaced cast lead token. This is an example which can be classified as a Powell Type 32 token. The token is decorated with an abstract image including a human figure. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore difficult to date precisely. The complexity of the design suggests a probable late Medieval or Post Medieval date for this token (c.1450-1800AD).
It measures 21.00 mm in diameter and is 2.10 mm thick and it weighs 5.81 grams. Condition is good with some surface corrosion present.
