A cast lead alloy uniface token dating to the Medieval-Post Medieval period, c. 1250-1800 AD. Possibly Powell Type 22, depicting a mill wheel. The token is decorated on one side with raised circle with four crossing lines through it at the centre, running to the edges of the token. The reverse face is flat and undecorated. It measures 14.87 mm in diameter, 1.54 mm thick and weighs 1.7 grams.
Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore difficult to date precisely and tokens with simple designs could be Medieval or Post Medieval in date (1250-1850 AD).
