A complete lithic thumb scraper of Neolithic date designed to be held between your thumb and forefinger. The object is roughly tear drop shaped in plan and sub-ovate in section. Both the ventral and dorsal surfaces are irregular with numerous flakes removed during the shaping process creating multiple negative scars and corresponding arrises. The proximal edge has been heavily worked to create the scraping edge and extends along the right edge to the distal portion of the implement.
The flint is a dark greyish-brown colour with multiple lighter inclusions and one patch of cortex on the ventral surface. The implement is 44.1mm long, 33.9mm wide, 13.2mm thick and weighs 16.7g.
