Copper alloy sheet tweezers length 57mm, width 8mm, thickness 9mm weight 5.07g. Sheet metal that has been bent double. The fold has been bent into an penannular loop, from this point the gap between each blade gently widens to the tips, which have bent inwards to meet and form the pincer. An incised groove runs parallel to each edge.
A very similar artefact was found in excavations in Colchester (see N. Crummy; 1983; pp. 59; no. 1883).
