A copper alloy military strap loop dating to the Roman period. The object is sub circular in plan, although the edges are worn and corroded. In the centre of fron face there is a dot enclosed by a ring, this is the only decoration. On the back of the object are two rectangular loops that span the diameter of the object. In between the two loops and close to the perimeter are two rectangular protrusions. The metal is green in colour and the object weighs 8.5g, measuring 25.42mm in width and 27.52mm in length.
