The pin is missing.
The buckle is in the form of a stylised five-petalled flower head, with double lobed petals of equal size and regularly spaced.
On the upper face, the outside edge of each petal has been defined with a raised ridge and the inner parts of the petals have parallel ridges and grooves. It has a narrowed strap bar, 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat the rear. The rear face of the frame is flat.
This buckle frame has a dark olive green patina with small patches of corrosion.
