An incomplete cast copper alloy Trumpet brooch of Roman date. All that remains of the brooch is the trumpet shaped head, circular sectioned bow and crude acanthus decoration. The brooch is undecorated and is extremely worn.
The metal has a mid brownish-green patina. The brooch is 37.8 mm long, 16.5mm wide, 10.3mm thick and weighs 14.1g.
