Cast copper alloy purse bar fragment length 37mm, width 11.5mm, thickness 7mm, weight 9.82g. only one arm of the purse bat remains, this has an oval cross-section bar with a circular cross-section rod projecting from the terminal. Cross hatch decoration has been engraved on the side of the bar. There is a pierced tab on the underside to sow a bag onto. Date 1400-1600.
