A very worn, slightly bent cast copper-alloy elaborate double loop buckle of Post-medieval date. The centre of each oval loop has a collared barrel moulding which is flanked by two scrolled knops. There are two sets of three raised collars on each loop and moulded curvilinear ribs run along the length of each loop. The pin bar is triangular in cross section and has two elaborate heads located at either end of the bar which form two knops on the outer edge of the buckle. The pin is missing, iron corrosion is visible on the pin bar. The buckle is bent upwards slightly and is coated in a black lacquer which is worn in places where a mid green patina is visible.
