A complete copper alloy buckle dating to the 15th century. The buckle is sub rectangular in shape, one of the longer edges is straight and has a pin attached to it by a loop. The edge opposite is curved at either end and in the middle. The pin is rectangular in plan and tapers towards its termination. The object is largely green in colour and weighs 5.7g, measuring 34.00mm in length, 20.90mm in width and 3.16mm in thickness.A parallel can be found in Whitehead, R. (2003) Buckles, 1250-1800, Greenlight Publishing: 26: no. 173.
