Cast copper alloy trade weight dating to the Post-Medieval period. The weight is circular with a wide raised rim on the top. The object is stamped with a large irregular central stamp or three merging stamps to the side of which two stars are stamped. It measures 31.68mm in diameter, is 5.54 thick and weighs 27.7g, 0.977088oz. It was probably originally a one ounce weight and due to abrasion, has lost some mass. Weights of this style are normally 16th to 18th Centuries in dating. The object has a dark green patina.
