A fragment of a glass bottle of modern date: 19th century. The fragment is part of the neck and rim of a bottle. The rim is circular in plan, rectangular in section and is slightly raised from the surface of the neck which is also circular and flares outward slightly before terminating in an irregular and worn break.
The glass is a dark green colour which appears black at the thicker points. The fragment is 59.7mm long, 36.8mm wide, 9mm thick and weighs 50.6g.
