Discussion
The solid gold pennanular ring is a fairly common object dating to the Late Bronze Age (1150-750BC) (Meeks et al. 2008). There are further penannular rings which have been recently found in broader environs as at Kelvedon, Essex (ESS-E97973) and at Takeley, Essex (ESS-E8A4F8).
Conclusion
The objects qualify as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act (1996) (Designation Order 2002).
