Early Post Medieval copper alloy button, 17mm long, 10mm wide and thick. The object is in a fair condition and weighs 2.80grams. The object consists of a cone shape which has grooves incised along its length radiating towards its tip. This is attached to an integral sub rectangular plate with a circular hole for securing it. One side of the plate has been worn down, making the hole larger.
