A complete silver 'short cross' penny of Henry III dating to between 1216 and 1247. Minted in London by the moneyer Adam. It is a class 7b or 7c (Spink/Seaby no. 1356B/C) the letter A having a square top and the M appearing as H. The bust is a little worn.
