A small cast tin bell of medieval date, for use on dress. The bell is square in plan with four petals which have been bent back to retain a pea (which is not visible). The sides are each covered in cast decoration which comprises descending lines and rows of conjoined pellets.

The bell is similar to those from London shown in Dress Accessories, nos.1668-1670.
