An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy mount (c. 1500-c. 1650 AD).
This mount is sub-circular in plan, moulded at the front and flat at the rear. At the front, it has a central pellet surrounded by five evenly spaced pellets forming a six-petalled flower-head motif. On the rear face are two incomplete integral spikes.
This mount is in poor condition and is corroded overall. It has traces of a green patina at the front.
