A cast copper-alloy strap slide of Iron Age-Roman date, c. 100 BC-AD 150.
The slide has a pointed oval body with swollen pointed ends with raised ridges, and a central boss. The underside has a C-shaped bracket connecting to the underside of the pointed ends. The bracket is rectangular in section.
