A cast copper-alloy buckle of Medieval date, c. 1350-1500.
The buckle is double-framed and incomplete, having suffered some damage to the frame and missing its pin. The frames are D-shaped in plan with a cast integral central bar. The outare frames thicken from the sides to the apex/centre.
