A very worn, corroded and clipped silver probable 12th-13th century medieval penny of possible long-cross voided type of uncertain ruler and mint. The coin has been flattened severely, probably while in situ and this has made identification of this coin impossible; the long cross visible on the reverse of the coin is severely distorted and no further detail remains.
