Cast copper alloy single loop buckle frame, probably of Medieval or early Post Medieval date c. 1270 – 1600. The frame is plain apart from the pin notch on one face. The bar is slightly thinned and the outside edge of the frame is slightly expanded. The frame is relatively flat on both faces with rounded sides. There is some iron corrosion on the bar, suggesting the missing pin was made of iron.
