A rimsherd of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel.
The sherd is 5.83mm thick and weighs 3.2g. It is 20.09mm long and 25.20mm wide.
The sherd consists of a rimsherd, in a fabric similar to that of an Malvernian rock tempered coarseware, of Roman dating (1st to 4th Centuries AD). The sherd is probably from a bowl type vessel, imitating the popular Dorset Black Burnished ceramic type.
