A rimsherd of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel.
The sherd is 6.20mm thick and weighs 4.4g. It is 10.63mm long and 19.14mm wide.
The sherd consists of a rimsherd, in a fabric is similar to that known as Savernake, a locally produced grog tempered greyware, produced in the Savernake forest area of Wiltshire during the Late 1st Century into the 2nd Century. The rim type is consistent with a large storage jar type vessel. Rimsherd has been burnt.
