A rimsherd of a wheelthrown ceramic vessel.
The sherd is 6.93mm thick and weighs 7.7g. It is 25.59mm long and 32.38mm wide.
The sherd consists of a rimsherd, in a fabric is similar to a cooking pot type vessel, in a orange oxidised fabric similar to that published as COTS (Cotswold Oolitic) in McSloy 2007 pp30. A significant proportion of the oolitic limestone inclusions have been leached out. It most likely dates from 11th to 13th centuries.
