A complete flint microlith of Mesolithic date 8300-3500 BC. The flint is overall a leaf shape with a smooth convex dorsal surface. Cracking ripples are present running from the proximal left hand side towards the centre moving away from the striking platform which is positioned to the left hand side proximally. The outer perimeter of the microlith has fine retouch to the distal left margins and proximate right hand margins. The ventral surface is flat and demonstrates the same retouch pattern as the dorsal surface. There is one negative scar present at the proximal end, encompassing the lower centre and right hand side of the microlith.
The flint is a light brown, lighter on the ventral surface, with cream inclusions throughout.
