A rimsherd of a handmade ceramic vessel.

The sherd is 10.93mm thick and weighs 10.8g. It is 26.20mm long and 31.81mm wide.

The sherd consists of a rimsherd, in a fabric is similar to that known as Savernake, a locally produced grog tempered greyware, produced in the Savernake forest area of Wiltshire during the Late 1st Century into the 2nd Century. The rim type is consistent with a large storage jar type vessel.
