A roughly cast copper alloy cast triangular hollow openwork 'pyramidal' object 32.56mm in length. The object has a rounded apex loop which sits above a short collar. On each side are three unequal openings. The base is also open and has a rounded loop in each angle, each also pierced with a round hole for attachment.
While there are no clear parallels this object can with some confidence be identified as a lamp hanger in view of its similarity to the wide range of three-armed lamp hangers of medieval date.
