A cast copper alloy medieval horse harness pendant, dating from c. AD 1270-1370. The pendant is sub-circular in plan with an integrally cast suspension loop set perpendicular to the pendant. The pendant is convexed and has a ring of dots arranged around its outer edge; there are 25 in number and some retain gilding while others appear to contain the remains of degraded yellow enamel. Similar examples can be found in Clark (1995) p64.
