A complete cast copper alloy Post Medieval circular uniface token. Powell Type 2. One side has the initial I; the other side is plain. The token has a diameter of 16.39mm, 2.37 mm thick and weighs 3.5gms.Lead tokens with initials are thought to be Post Medieval in date, c. 1550-1800,although they are hard to date precisely as they had a wide variety of uses and were made locally.
