Complete Medieval or Post Medieval cast uniface lead token. The token is a sub-circular disc; one side is decorated with a raised geometric design possibly including lettering including a possible letter B or R, although this may be incidental - The main design appears to consist of a central elongated X with a ladder like design, at diagonals, to either side.
Lead tokens have a wide variety of potential uses such as use as either tokens or tallies and are believed to have been locally produced; they are therefore difficult to date precisely. Those with initials are generally believed to be Post Medieval in date (AD 1500-1850) but others with geometric designs and specifically those ones with designs seemingly influenced by long-cross pennies or similar could date date from the later Medieval period, c.1400 onwards, although most are believed to be post medieval in date. Most tokens are therefore dated broadly.
