Roman copper alloy bow brooch, probably a simple T-shape brooch of the first or second century. It has a short bow and cylindrical wings either side of the head, with no decoration visible. At the back of the head is the slot where a hinged pin would have fitted. The end of one wing is slightly lumpy from corrosion. The bow has a dark brown patina.
The object is 24mm long, 28mm wide and weighs 5.03g.
