A complete cast lead or lead alloy unifaced token of probable Post Medieval dating (1600 to 1700 AD).
The token is broadly circular in plan. The upper face (obverse) exhibits a saltire cross design (powell type 14), and the lower face (reverse) is plain.
The token is a dark grey colour, with an even surface patina. It demonstrates a small degree of abrasion, caused by movement whilst within in the plough soil.
The token measures 12.6mm in diameter and is 4.42mm thick. It weighs 4.0 grams.
