A group of four flint microliths dating from the Early Mesolithic period. They are formed on broad flakes of translucent grey flint with some mottling.
The longest is 36.38mm long, 10.76mm wide, 3.46mm thick, 1.34g. It has fine retouch from the dorsal face along both sides. There are long removals on the dorsal face. The next longest is 31.46mm long, 13.03mm wide and 3.84mm thick. 1.64g. The slightly tan coloured flitn has very fine retouch along both sides. The proximal end is rounded. The next is 29.84mm long, 12.84mm wide and 3.9mm thick. 1.7g. The distal end is snapped and the prioximal end is roudned, there is neat retouch along the left side and sporadic retouch along the right edge. The shortest microlith is 25.5mm long, 15.25mm wide and 5.42mm thick. 1.98g. There is evidence of platform preparation, uneven retouch on the left side, removals from the distal end, neat retouch on the right side of the distal end adn on the proxinal end of the right side, and less tidy retouch, perhaps from the ventral face on the distal end of the right side.
