Pottery rim sherd. Greyware. Ian Rowlandson kindly comments this may be from a 'Trentside' greyware kiln; possibly Lea, Knaith or Wildsworth. Thick triangular rim with groove on its under-surface, probably from a dish shaped vessel. Abraded. Suggested date: Roman, 100-410. Wallace Collyer of the North Lincolnshire Pottery Research Group kindly identified this sherd.
