A fragment from a ceramic vessel of uncertain date, probably medieval. The wall fragment is sub-rectangular and curved. The fabric is soft and irregular with quartz, grit and possible shell inclusions. It is dark gray on the outer face, with a startling white layer on the inner face. The outer face is mottled, possibly with splashes of clear glaze.
