Post-medieval lead alloy button, probably mid 17th - 18th century in date. Raised, moulded quatrefoil decoration on the front. The back is worn with a possible maker's mark which is illegible. The attachment loop/shank is missing with a scar in the cnetre where it was attached. It is 16.61mm long, 15.50mm wide and 4.63mm thick. It weighs 3.65 grams.

A similar button can be seen in Read (2005:80), no. 328 which he dates to the early 18th century.
