Medieval cast copper alloy buckle. Annular buckle frame with a castellated pattern. The central bar is intact, the pin is now missing. Buckles of this type have been dated from c.1400 -1500 AD. See no 269, p 46 in Buckles 1250 -1800 by Ross Whitehead for a similar example. Full reference below.
