Anglo-Saxon copper alloy great square head brooch fragment. The object consists of most of the head-plate and its decoration consists of a border of 3 raised parallel lines surrounding a central open rectangle which is surrounded by a series of raised curving lines. The reverse has two centrally placed rectangular lug scars which would have held the pin.
