A cast, copper alloy, medieval coin weight for weighing the gold ryal, dating from AD1400-1600. This is an English weight. It is uniface and oval in shape. It shows the king, holding sword and shield, standing in a ship with a rose on the side. It is 18.5mm long, 16.1mm wide and 3.9mm thick. It weighs 6.8gm.
