A sheet copper alloy strap mount dating from the medieval period, AD1350-1450. There is a third, circular piercing between the two rivets that is unoccupied. With the exception of a single, transverse groove across each end of the rectangle, it is undecorated. The mount has a dark green patina. It is 29.2mm long, 15mm wide and 3.9mm thick. It weighs 4.07gm.

Identical mounts are illustrated in Egan and Pritchard, 1991, Dress Accessories: Medieval Finds From Excavations in London, pages 196 & 197.
